June De-stash Giveaway is here!!!!

Ok, It's June, we are half way through the year of monthly giveaways. Yay!
June's box color is Blue
So, for June, this giveaway will be open to people living in the US only. Anyone can comment however and I do love to hear from you, so comment away.

In order to be in the running to win June's box of Blue goodies please let me know what your reading right now and whether you would recommend it. It's summertime and it's time to round up some good books to read. Paper or digital, it matters not.

Details for the 2012 Monthly Giveaway:

I will post a photo of the give-away each month during the first week of the month- so check back often, so you don't miss out.

You will have until the 21st of each month to leave a comment.

Leave only one comment per person.

I will pick a winner and get your package in the mail by the 25th of each month (postal holidays and weekends excepted). (Make sure you don't fall in to the no-reply blogger category- if I can't get you I'll pick someone else).

I know some of my followers are outside the USA. Because international postal rates abroad are much more expensive I will be doing international mailings only a few times during the year (these are big packages and costly to send). Please know- I haven't forgotten you and appreciate your following me- I really do. So, I will specifically post whether the monthly destash-give-away is open to international entries on any given month.

Thanks for all your support and good luck in 2012! Remember 7 chances remain to win this year- Go for it!!!

  1. I just read an awesome book on Canning by Ashley English and I would highly recommend it if you're considering canning anything this summer!

  2. I am currently reading Honeymoon by Jamer Patterson. It is so so... It is about a black widdow who has multipul "Lovers" (richmen of course), what she does to them, and the story of how someone is on to her.

  3. I am an audio books gal, listening while I sew. I am now listening to Naughty in Nice...a fun murder mystery by Rhys Bowen

  4. I just finished Legend, and would definitely recommend it!

  5. I just re-read the Hunger Games series. Book 1 is definitely my favorite. After seeing the movie, my husband came home and read all three books in one weekend, so I guess that's two recommendations.

  6. I'm reading Cleaning House: A Mom's Twelve-Month Experiment to Rid Her Home of Youth Entitlement by Kay Willis

Hmm. Only finished the first chapter, but I need to hurry up and finish quick! Blue is my favorite color all shades especially light blue, periwinkle and aqua!

  7. desperately trying to finish "The Hunger Games" on my's good but I have WAY too many things on my plate right now!

    I love blue!

  8. Great giveaway. I'm reading The Language of Bees by Laurie R. King, which is in the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series - wonderful series of books. Another book which is an older one that I pulled off my shelf to reread is by Rumer Godden called China Court - one of my favorite books. Thanks for the chance to win.

  9. great giveaway i am reading dianne mott davidson's chopping spree. i love mystery's and she writes cooking mystery's makes for a good read and i would recommend it to anyone thanks for the giveaway

  10. I'm obsessively reading my Google Reader on my iPhone lately, since I've been busy taking care of my newborn & the iPhone is good for one-handed reads. However, I have to say that last year, I read all of the books in the "Game of Thrones" series by George RR Martin & they were addictive.

  11. I just started reading "Blue Shoes and Happiness" by Alexander McCall Smith. It is part of his No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency Series. The books are easy reading and are perfect for a relaxing sit down with a cup of tea.
    Thanks for offering the giveaway.

  12. I just finished reading "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson (I can't remember the second author's name). Initially, I thought it was a little slow-but then I really got into it! It is an autobiographical account of his time building schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan. It really moved me.

  13. I am reading "The Happiness Project" and I am finding it to be a good far as novels, I would recommend Erika Bauermesiter's "Joy, for Beginners" Janet K

  14. I am re-reading "Lace" by Shirley Conran. When I read a new book I just keep going - with a re-read, I can pick it up and put it down - and that's all I have time for these days.
Count me out of your giveaway - I'm in South Africa. Margaret
