This month it's "rainbow"…….
In order to be eligible to win this month you must tell me where you were when you saw a "picture-perfect" rainbow. That's all!!!
Details for the 2012 Monthly Giveaway:
I will post a photo of the give-away each month during the first week of the month- so check back often, so you don't miss out.
You will have until the 21st of each month to leave a comment.
Leave only one comment per person.
I will pick a winner and get your package in the mail on or about the 25th of each month (postal holidays and weekends excepted). (Make sure you don't fall in to the no-reply blogger category- if I can't get you I'll pick someone else). And don't forget to answer the monthly "question". Just saying "thanks for the giveaway" won't secure the win for you.
I know some of my followers are outside the USA. Because international postal rates abroad are much more expensive I will be doing international mailings only a few times during the year (these are big packages and costly to send). Please know- I haven't forgotten you and appreciate your following me- I really do. So, I will specifically post whether the monthly destash-give-away is open to international entries on any given month.
Thanks for all your support and good luck in 2012! Remember 5 chances remain to win this year- Go for it!!!
I was in the car in the passengers seat when I saw the best rainbow. I ended up crawling all around the inside to keep watching it as my hubby was driving.
ReplyDeleteI saw a double rainbow while driving to Utah in 1999
ReplyDeleteI saw a conplete double rainbow for the first time from my front porch about five years ago. We've seen several more since then.
ReplyDeleteI think my picture perfect rainbow was about 2 months ago, it seems like from our view in our front yard we can see the full rainbow arc which is really nice. My hubs and son took really good pictures in front of one last month!
ReplyDeleteNever seen a double rainbow....
Several weeks ago we saw a well defined rainbow through our French doors. There is a large pasture behind our house so it was a wide open view of the arc.
ReplyDeleteI've also seen a double rainbow several times though cannot remember where as was a number of years ago.
Purple was wonderful and bet that rainbow will be too!
The last time I saw a rainbow, I was in my car coming home from work. Luckily traffic was light so I got a good look. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteThe rainbows over the trees in our back yard are very nice...but the best would be a double rainbow over the back yard trees at the house where I grew-up, about 5 minutes from where I live now :)
ReplyDeletein our front yard a beautiful double
ReplyDeleteWe saw a beautiful rainbow when we visited Yellowstone National Park in June. We were viewing one of the falls and were able to see and capture a picture of the rainbow.

My husband and I were on an October vacation in the mountains-- driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The leaves were in full color and absolutely breathtaking-- couldn't imagine *anything* that would have made the scenery more beautiful--- UNTIL we rounded a curve and saw a full rainbow arcing from one mountaintop to another! We pulled over, took lots of photos and just enjoyed God's handiwork! Amazing!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the last time I saw a real rainbow. However, I'm sure I was driving and didn't get a chance to really look at it. I know it has been a while since we haven't had a good rain in a good long time. I see a lot of good rainbows of fabric looking at quilts on flikr! What a great idea for a give away! Thanks
ReplyDeleteJust last month we were on our way back home from a two week vacation out west. The mountains were off a ways in a distance, but we were driving in the valley so they were on both sides us. The rainbow was ahead of us so we could see it for a long time as we drove through Nebraska. It stretched from mountain top to mountain top. A pretty awesome sight for sure.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance for the giveaway.
OH! Just last week we saw the most awesome rainbow we'd experienced. It was single, but large, coming from behind our field of vision. (We were standing on our apartment's balcony.) We joked about it looking like it was arcing right down into our complex, so we should run downstairs and chase its pot of gold. As we followed it down visually - I kid you not - its ending landed right on the hood of my car!
ReplyDeleteMy family and I were having our first vacation in 5 yrs. in the Outer Banks of NC...Corolla to be exact. We had taken a beautiful walk on the beach after a nice rain and there it was....out over the ocean...the most beautiful, bright rainbow I had ever seen before. It was absolutely perfect!!
